My journey into learning and development began almost 20 years ago when I was working as a Customer Service Representative in a call center. An opportunity arose for me to assist as a subject matter expert in a training class, and I discovered a natural talent for explaining complex concepts in a simple way. This led to my transition into a role as an associate trainer, and since then, I have never looked back.

One of the key initiatives I have implemented as a learning leader is our “pathways” program. This program guides employees from new hire training to management positions by focusing on specific skills needed at each level of their career. For example, agents at the six-month mark undergo training on resource utilization to advance to a higher skill level.

Over the past decade, I have introduced various programs in my organization, but the most impactful change has been the integration of a skills-based curriculum across all programs.
