Kraft Heinz has launched the Manager as Coach Program with the goal of boosting leadership effectiveness and improving employee performance through equipping managers with essential coaching skills. This initiative aims to empower and support teams, leading to enhanced employee engagement, better communication, and a more positive work environment.
Program Details
The Manager as Coach Program offers personalized coaching sessions, experiential learning, and practical tools. Led by experienced Learning and Development (L&D) and HR professionals, the program covers various topics such as effective communication, leadership, teambuilding, and conflict resolution. Managers receive tailored coaching training based on their strengths and areas for development. Additionally, the program utilizes workshops, webinars, and interactive coaching guides for a comprehensive learning experience.
Mentoring and a community of practice play integral roles in the program, allowing participants to apply their coaching skills in real-world scenarios and receive peer feedback. The community of practice fosters ongoing learning and collaboration among managers, providing a platform to share experiences and insights.
To further develop their skills, participants have access to resources for self-evaluation, follow-up nudges, and peer coaching groups. The program also offers a “Manager as Coach” playlist for continuous learning and interactive journals for assessing coaching strengths and fostering a culture of coaching.
