In a move to enhance client satisfaction with management performance, Sunstates Security introduced Power User within its learning management system (LMS). Power Users are individuals who hold specific permissions and resources, granting them access to hidden information and sections of the platform.
By utilizing Power Users, the company can delegate administrative privileges to collaborators while maintaining platform control. Instead of manually assigning permissions, Sunstates Security created custom profiles for different roles and assigned these profiles to multiple Power Users, simplifying the process of granting privileges.
Program Details
To become a Power User, individuals must hold a supervisor or manager title and complete the Manager’s Learning Plan, comprised of 20 carefully selected courses for managerial staff. Once the manager completes the final course, they transition seamlessly to the Power User Dashboard, equipped with administration tools for overseeing teams, accessing training initiatives, enrolling in courses, and generating reports on enrollment status.
Sunstates Security aims to empower managers to actively engage with their teams, shifting the focus from centralized control to individual management. Through weekly reports and metrics analysis, managers can track performance and address any discrepancies, ultimately fostering a culture of accountability.
Results
From July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, Sunstates Security achieved a client satisfaction rating of 92% and a retention rate of 95%, exceeding company goals. This success highlights the impact of empowering managers and supervisors to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
