Minneapolis (August 23, 2024) –Training magazine recently announced the winners of its prestigious 2024 Emerging Training Leaders awards. These awards recognize 25 outstanding learning and development (L&D) professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, business acumen, and transformative training initiatives within their organizations.
The winners, with two to 10 years of experience in the industry, have showcased exemplary skills in leadership, teambuilding, strategic thinking, and training innovation.
These talented professionals will be featured in the March 2025 issue of Training magazine and on the website. Furthermore, they will be honored at an awards ceremony on February 18, 2025, at Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort as part of the Training 2025 Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL.
All nominees for the Emerging Training Leaders awards were recommended by colleagues or peers in the industry. The final 25 winners were selected by Training Editorial Advisory Board members and the editor/publisher based on specific criteria, including:
- Minimum of two years and maximum of 10 years in the training industry
- Assumed new responsibilities in the past year
- Successfully led a significant training or learning initiative that contributed to achieving a business goal
- Demonstrated strong leadership qualities
- Showcased potential to lead the training or L&D function at an organization in the future
In addition to the winners, Training also identified five professionals as “Emerging Training Leaders to Watch” who are on their way to becoming future leaders in the field.
The panel of judges included industry experts such as Diane August, Brent Bloom, Douglas Bryant, Alison Bundgaard, and others.
